My curiosity into martial arts, like many people, started in my childhood. However the most I was able to indulge came from martial art movies. Unfortunately it was not until recently that I’ve been able to explore it first hand. I had first looked into enrolling my kids into a martial arts class for kids to unload all of their extra energy. As a result I enrolled them at the Bujinkan Bukeyashiki Dojo (BBD) and within one month I attended a FREE class and then enrolled myself.

On a personal level I’ve always had protective inclinations (how to use self defense techniques to protect my family), an instinct that has only grown with having a family. Training in the martial arts has lifted my confidence level in being able to fulfill that role. More importantly (to me) is that what I am learning through realistic self defense training I can one day pass on and share on a common level with my kids. My initial desire to be the one that protects my family still exists but I’ve come to understand that everyone must stand on their own with regards to self defense.

Over the last year I’ve found my ninjutsu training to deeply influence my personality. It may be hard to believe (I’m quite the skeptic) but life inside of the dojo even with its limited time has a very direct impact on life outside of the dojo. Your martial arts training whether you like it or not follows you home and soon the few hours a week spent in a ninjutsu dojo creates a different frame of mind. Eventually your thinking is altered in fantastic ways and you find yourself training even without being physically engaged in ninjutsu training.

Although ninjutsu training is a never ending road its definitely one worth taking. My life has been transformed by the martial arts and I hope that it can do something similar for you. To find out how send me an email or try out a FREE class.

My name is Andre Tosado, and I'm a student at the Bujinkan Bukeyashiki Dojo (BBD). I've been a student of the martial arts since I was a child however; I've been officially studying martial arts and in particular Bujinkan ninpo taijutsu for over a year now. As a child I would read martial arts books and tried to learn self defense techniques, because I thought it was the greatest thing in the world. Eventually after 30 plus years I was fortunate enough to make a dream come true an learn a realistic martial art from an authentic ninjutsu dojo.

In my teenage years I took up boxing but I always knew something was missing. Having nothing but a punching background, I was fascinated by the powerful style of budo taijutsu and it intrigued me to say the least. Eventually I decided to try out a free class and it worked out for me. Needless to say the ninjutsu techniques I experienced were not the same as the martial art techniques movies were made of, ninpo taijutsu gave me a sense of wonder as to how it actually worked.

One of the reasoned I started training in the martial arts was because of my family. I want to be able to protect them. The training and experience I've gain from learning a realistic martial art has help me both personally and professionally. I know how much I have changed for the better and I always look forward to training with all my fellow buyu (martial art friends).

I've also learned that the difficulty of martial arts is not perfecting a technique, but the philosophy, principle, and mindset you develop. I realize that Bujinkan budo taijutsu it's more then just a martial art, but a way of life. The ninpo taijutsu pool has a very deep end and I believe there is no mastery of this martial art and therefore it continues to be fascinating and fun. You see if you spend enough time doing something with a desire to learn it, you will accomplish it. For me martial arts is a path worth walking if you're truly looking to be a better person.

My life has been transformed by the martial arts and I hope that it can do something similar for you. To find out how send me an email or try out a FREE class.

For as long as I can remember I’ve played around with the idea of taking martial arts classes. It wasn’t until about a year ago when I finally decided to take a serious look into finding a dojo that was right for me.

Choosing a style wasn’t the hard part for me, Ninjutsu had my attention right from the start. Lucky for me the Bujinkan Bukeyashiki Dojo was the first I came across. It was the first time I had ever stepped foot inside an authentic ninjutsu dojo. I met the instructor and he explained to me what the Bujinkan is and how ninpo taijutsu is taught.

I tried out a free class and then signed up and stuck it out for a while and decided that I can really learn not only how to defend myself correctly, but to look at the world and myself in a completely new light.

Joining the BBD was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Ninjutsu is something I’m extremely passionate about and it’s something I see myself doing for the rest of my life. But the real reason I joined is because I wanted to learn how to protect myself as well as my loved ones.

For me martial arts is a path worth walking if you're truly looking to be a better person.

My life has been transformed by the martial arts and I hope that it can do something similar for you. To find out how send me an email or try out a FREE class.

I had never really trained in martial arts before, besides taking Karate as a kid, but have always wanted to start. At first, I contemplated joining either Brazilian or traditional Jujitsu or Taekwondo, but was unsure of how realistic the training would be on the street. I researched these martial arts but then came across Ninjutsu and was immediately intrigued. Not only is the training realistic and constantly evolving and adapting to the changing world, but it combines aspects of many martial arts. I decided to take a free trial class and after that it was history.

The dojo is such a great training environment. Everyone is eager to learn, but also to help and work together to figure things out and discover new insights. Since joining the Bujinkan I have become much more aware of my surroundings and have gained a whole new insight on life. Although I am very competitive, I love how Ninjutsu is not about ranking or perfect technique but rather about training and manifesting the spiritual and physical aspects of the art into your life.

Ninjutsu is particularly beneficial to females, who are not and never will be as strong as men. That is what makes this martial art special, it doesn't matter how strong or big you are. Being a kunoichi (female ninja) is about having patience and balance, which in turn produce confidence in yourself and security for you and your loved ones. This art has truly changed my life and it can do the same for you!
